Nichole Eshbaugh, along with Adam Dinges, created Drive Cooperative in 2023. With close to 25 years in the cooperative industry it was a passion project to work with several cooperatives sharing the drive she had in the technology and workflow process spanning several departments.
Prior to Drive Coop, Nichole worked at Tri-County Electric Cooperative family starting there in 2017 as the Chief Technology Officer. There at TCEC in Texas, Nichole got to help play a driving role in transforming a heavily paper and silo’ d cooperative representing 120,000 meters into one of the most forward-thinking and streamlined cooperatives in the industry. Growing at a 4% rate, in a dual served competitive area facing weather, technology and even power supply bankruptcies TCEC grew it’s technology savvy, streamlined processes, implemented EOS and revolutionized the way of doing business at the coop.
Prior to joining TCEC, Nichole spent 19 years in the utility industry providing utility solutions, along with customer training and software implementation, then later leading the Business Development teams for an Enterprise software vendor.
Through hands-on using, training, implementing and selling software to utilities, Nichole developed a deep understanding of utilities' software needs and a keen understanding of their key need - the need for solutions that integrate across all facets of a utility's operations with an analytics backbone and as few clicks as possible. This understanding helps Nichole in her role at Drive Coop as she introduces new technologies and workflows to the cooperatives and the concept of data synergy: a full suite of software, workflows, and advanced technology tools that not only work together but work seamlessly with existing solutions as well.
